Everyone know that being an employee mean that we must follow the order from our boss. If our boss do not satisfy with our work, what will happen next, well you know, either being scolded or if your boss is nice, then he or she will give you "advice". Not everyone take the advice with open minded and correct it with the best action. If the employee is a progressive and active person, he or she may do the best for his or her company. While the employee who are passive and a bit shy may say that he or she cannot do the job well. What next? Stress, depressed will come out from their mind.
Well, I can't said I'm in neither group as I will be motivated as my boss know what we are doing, our progress in a certain project. At least, some point or any progress delayed is spoken out. In spite of that, I will be depressed as some time as employee, I do the work, but the boss did not see any progress. My team try our best to do the best things in certain time, but due to the internet problem, we face a slow internet problem, especially the start of every day work. Imagine, you want to do the work within 1 hour, but the slow, lame like snail sliding performance of the internet make my work become 4 hours or more. This is very frustrated especially when we want to rush our project. No choice, this is your destiny. (But sometimes, you can change it.)
Today, in the cafetaria, my boss want to know my progress. What I can say is that I don't have ample time to do all the things within this month, especially tons of work is waiting in front of my desk. Furthermore, one of my boss want to transfer to another job title. So, I think it will be a difficult time for a contract employee like me. My boss' friend even suggest to me that I should focus on completing one thing first before other come. It quite true but that a lot of work to do, especially when you want to achieve the company target. Paperwork, project management etc make you sick. Sick is the biggest enemy as I cannot focus on doing things perfectly and idea will be zero. So, I try to make my body healthy and let my job doing well.
Being employee is very tough as we need money to sustain our lives. Except if I have an idea that is brilliant enough to do all the project without or less work being done by me. Well, that is when you are a boss, a business man or an entrepreneur like Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs or Ma Yun. Hope one day I can be one of them.
